Leonel Moiana is a Dr. Sc in Genetics and Breeding. Leonel finsihed his degree at the Estadual de Maringá University-Maringa, Brazil. Actually, he is a scientific coördinator and leader of biotechnology lab at Research Centre of Leadership

The main thrust of his research effort is that of improving farm and peasant level decision making by the consideration of the impacts of emerging technologies, genetics and breeding, postharvesting and Agro-processing, environmental and resource constraints that are likely to affect agricultural producers and society at large.
